Our Mission
We are a church that seeks to glorify God by making disciples of Christ in our community and to the ends of the earth, paying forward the love of Jesus.
Our Vision
To be a multicultural and multigenerational community of Christ's disciples that worships God, builds one another up, and testifies of Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit, bringing hope to the nations.

Our History
Nearly 90 years serving Chicago's Hispanic community
Founded in 1936
The Early Years
The Hispanic Christian and Missionary Alliance Church held its first service on May 26, 1936, at 2255 W. Taylor, Chicago IL, with five founding families. Their vision was to establish a permanent church for the Hispanic community.
Growth and Expansion
Due to congregational growth, the church acquired property at 2239 W. 21st Street, Chicago, where services continued. On November 24, 1964, the church was officially organized with 15 founding members under the leadership of Rev. José Ramón Astacio.

What We Believe
We are part of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, a Christ-centered denomination committed to the Great Commission, bringing His hope to the nations.
Full Statement of Faith
Our Core Beliefs
There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is true God and true man, who conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a sacrifice for our sins and rose bodily from the dead.
The Holy Spirit is a divine person, sent to dwell, guide, teach, empower the believer, and convince the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment.
The Old and New Testament, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are a complete revelation of His will for the salvation of man.
